Creating new habits has been a major goal for many people. This is because every day there is a growing concern for well-being and health.
This concern goes beyond mere aesthetic appeal. Understanding what is good and what is bad for the body is already a daily goal.
1 - Have a clear objective and create a step-by-step guide to achieve it
Everything becomes easier when we have a clear goal in mind. And that's very simple to understand!
When we decide to focus on something, we need to understand exactly where we want to go.
Once you have defined your destination, it becomes easier to think about the steps to get there! And it is through small steps that we achieve bigger goals.
So rethink your habits, observe your limitations and see where you want to go, what level you want to reach. Then, stop for a few minutes and start thinking about the steps to be followed.
Even though they are small, they are all extremely important. Each one of them will bring you closer to that place you want to be.
2 - Set concrete goals, don't run away from your reality!
Goals are important, but achievable goals are essential.
This is because we need to understand that the human body works as a system, but it is not a machine.
We all have our limits and needs, and each of them needs to be met.
Therefore, set realistic goals that are in line with your body, routine and disposition. Everything is a journey, and even if your goals are below your main objective, it will be one less step to finally get there!
Keep in mind that goals can also be adapted, so that you are getting closer and closer to the main objective (never take it out of your mind!).
3 - Watch your excesses
What is everyday life if not a series of excesses?
Excesses at work, excesses in eating , emotional excesses, etc. But our search can (and should) be for balance!
Every day is a new chance for you to change a bad habit or reinforce the presence of a new positive habit.
Analyzing your daily routine and detecting excesses will be an excellent start to changing everything that brings negative points to your body.
Important: health is not just physical! Your mental health should also be an important focus of this entire process! Taking care of your mind also means taking care of your entire body!
4 - Routine can be your greatest ally
Wake up early, train, have coffee, work, have lunch, work, study, sleep.
Are you tired just reading this routine? It doesn't have to be like this, but it does have to exist!
Routine is one of the pillars of maintaining new good habits. By having an organized and structured day, you will be able to have greater control over everything that happens in your life.
With greater organization, you can eat better, exercise better and fit all the small tasks you need to perform into your day.
Having a balanced routine also allows you to predict everything that day will bring. This way, you will know exactly where you will be and what you will be doing at all times. Be her friend!
5 - Look for someone who inspires you
Do you like following that famous singer? Or that influencer who does makeup tutorials?
So why not follow someone who inspires you to have healthier habits?
It could be a fitness blogger, a personal trainer or even a brand like us , which is always encouraging a more positive lifestyle! 😉
Having this type of inspiration can provide valuable tips for you to incorporate into your daily life.
6 - Everything is gradual, be patient!
Patience is a virtue but it is essential when adopting new habits! Nothing will happen overnight!
Your body and mind are always adapting and you must give them the time they need.
If the idea is to introduce a new exercise into your routine , then start slowly…
Observe your limits, see how far you can go and once you get there, then you can try to go further!
Eating better can also be one of your goals.
A good example is someone who wants to stop drinking soda . Cutting it out all at once can be torture, right?
The tip is to start by switching to a less caloric option such as the diet or zero versions.
Then, start drinking sparkling water with a slice of lemon. And finally, complete your goal by drinking only water!
Your body will thank you!
7 - Don't be too hard on yourself, and start all over again if you need to.
Nothing is eternal. We experience many things in a very short time. It is not fair to yourself to make so many demands!
Got lost on your new diet? It's okay, you can start again tomorrow! Didn't manage to finish the week at the gym?
No problem, next week you complete every day!
Charging yourself mercilessly will not contribute positively to achieving your goals!
Be patient, understand your limitations, and start over if you need to.
8 - Reward your progress!
We talked about collection, let's also talk about bonuses. Celebrate your victories!
It sounds very cliché to say that you deserve it just for trying, but it is important that we understand that every step is important, and needs to be celebrated!
The bigger goal is only achieved after completing many small steps! So celebrate!
Treat yourself to that shirt you've been eyeing for completing a whole month of training without missing a session.
Take a spa day and pamper yourself just by adopting healthier habits .
Allow yourself to live moments and situations that are just yours that will make your days lighter and healthier (physically and emotionally 😉).
9 - Don't give up on yourself!
We are sure that there are many people who love you and want the best for you. But the one who needs to get up and give the best of yourself is you!
The word “giving up” should never be in your vocabulary! Your biggest priority should always be you and your well-being!
Everything you will experience in light of this (work, relationships, friends, etc.) will depend on your relationship with yourself.
