Living with the hustle and bustle of everyday life is a daily challenge . It's hard to keep up with everything: there are days when you're exhausted and still need to prepare meals , go shopping, tidy up the house... The work seems never -ending, doesn't it? But don't worry, today I'm going to show you 5 steps to start a healthier routine, even on the busiest days!
A patient once told me: “ Nathalia, I know everything I need to do, but I can’t do it, I don’t know where to start .” Sometimes we get swallowed up by the tasks of the day, but some details can make all the difference in keeping the pace.
First of all , before anything else, you need to be organized . Planning is the first and most important step. Manage your tasks for the week. I like to write them down on a piece of paper and cross them off as I complete them, but you can do whatever you want!
The second step is to prepare as much food as possible in advance . You can do this in several ways: freezing already portioned meat to prepare later, having salad bowls ready for the week or even having ready-made lunch boxes.
Tip : separating your salad each week works really well, just avoid very watery foods and store everything clean and very dry!
The third step is: set a schedule, make a schedule. This way, you know what you need to do and how much time you will spend. For example, I prefer to train in the morning and I always try to schedule it. Think about your routine and how to balance each task to have a more organized day.
Fourth step : always have a plan B. Of course, not everything will go as planned, and that's okay! But always plan for the unexpected. Here, I always carry a BOLD in my bag wherever I go. That way, if something unexpected happens, at least I won't go hungry.
And last but not least : if something didn’t work out in the process, it’s not the end of the world! Evaluate what happened and think about what you can do differently. Routine is a matter of trial and error , and you can change and try different things whenever you want.
